The two companies have worked closely together since 2013 and the decision was taken in 2015 to merge the two companies.
This will allow the skills, knowledge and expertise MAP have developed in areas such as aviation and infrastructure, to be supported within an office of over fifty professional, technical and support staff.
Gary McConville will become a director of TODD Architects, with Shaun Ferguson continuing to work within the practice in a role focused on client care and new business development.
Paul Crowe, managing director of TODD’s commented –
“This merger of MAP into TODD Architects, is another very positive step forward for the practice, following on from the recent launch of our strategic alliance, 431 Architecture, with Keppie’s and Stride Treglown architects.
It will allow us to offer the resourcing power of one of the Architects Journals ‘Top 100’ UK leading practices to build on the reputation and experience MAP staff have developed in both aviation and infrastructure sectors”.
