TODD Architects have recently submitted proposals for a private residential scheme as part of the regeneration of Forth Yards area of Newcastle City Centre.
The scheme is located on Pottery Lane between the Redheugh and King Edward VII bridges, a high profile site which is a Gateway to the City. The development is formed of two buildings that wrap around private landscaped courtyard spaces. The building is articulated and steps to12 storeys adjacent the road bridge and responds to the context of the existing road whilst maximising views over the River Tyne.
The high quality contemporary residential development delivers 525 homes for the private rented sector delivered in two buildings with associated local landscape improvements and public realm enhancements.
