TODD Architects on professional team to deliver HMRC new regional centre in Belfast

HM Revenue and Customs have announced they will be basing their new Regional Centre in Erskine House, Chichester Street Belfast, having formerly signed a 25 year lease agreement with Orby Investment Ltd. This eight storey newbuild will house retail units at ground level, with HMRC expected to occupy the other seven floors, which will offer some of the highest standards of office accommodation in the city. This estimated 104,220 sq ft of office space has potential to accommodate around 1,600 full-time employees.

TODD Architects along with Bruce Shaw LLP, Caldwell Consulting and Ian Black Consulting make up the professional team chosen by Orby Investment Ltd to design and deliver this exciting new office development.

Savills, Belfast;

“HMRC’s decision to proceed with Erskine House is one of the largest ever pre-lets in Belfast and off the back of a record take-up in 2016 it reaffirms the underlying strength of demand in the office market.”

Construction is expected to start in Autumn 2017.
