John Palmer

John is one of the practice’s most experienced architects, joining TODD’s Dublin office in …, after having spent much of his career running his own practice. This exposed him to all aspects of the ‘business’ of architecture and he has brought invaluable experience and understanding in how buildings are ‘put together’ and successfully delivered.

During his time with the practice John in his Associate role, has managed a team of architects and technicians, looking after a very broad range of new build and refurbishment projects across differing sectors, including residential, healthcare, education, commercial and custodial.

He is presently leading the delivery team on the complex reconfiguration and extension of the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin city centre.

John has developed a particular interest in sustainable design, including Passivhaus standards and green building technologies.
