Paul is the practice’s Managing Director and has overseen it’s growth over the past twenty years into one of the UK and Ireland’s leading architectural consultancies.
Paul joined TODD’s immediately after leaving University in 1990, developing experience as a project architect in a wide variety of building types, but with a focus on the commercial, residential and healthcare sectors.
He became an equity director of the company in 2000 and M.D. in 2010.
Paul has also responsible for establishing the practice as an all Ireland business, founding and still directing the Dublin studio.
In addition to his other responsibilities, Paul has been instrumental in TODD’s becoming the first Northern Ireland architectural practice to secure Investors in People Gold accreditation and in established its Corporate Social Responsibility policy.
Paul’s wider commitment to the profession is evidenced in his sitting on RSUA Council for over twenty years, including serving as its President between 2016 – 2018.
Paul has very effectively steered TODD’s through the challenges of remote working presented by the Covid pandemic, never losing sight of looking after the mental health of everyone within our four studios, whilst also ensuring that the quality of our service to clients has been maintained.
