The practice was appointed by developer Titanic Quarter to prepare proposals for an 85,000sqft distribution centre for global internet retailer, Amazon.
The scheme extends to also include 7,000sqft of ancillary office accommodation, and a 300,000sqft car park deck storage facility (with a capacity for 479 vehicles).
The building’s design was developed to follow Amazon’s demanding specification requirements, that includes fully automated internal systems.
The project was fast tracked through the planning process and successfully delivered within a demanding timeframe during the Covid-19 lockdown period in early 2020.
