Chancery House, Belfast

Chancery House is a new build Grade A office development, sitting in a prominent location in Belfast city centre at the junction of Chichester Street and Victoria Street, sitting in between the Bar Library and Law Society House.

The ten storey building terminates the two existing streetscapes, lifted in height appropriate to its corner location and also effectively form a gateway into the city’s legal district.

The restricted site area necessitated particular care and attention being paid in the floorplate layouts to the vertical circulation / toilet core, to maximise the lettable office area being offered.

The architecture is consciously understated with a simple crisp box like form of staggered limestone framing (the material that predominates in neighbouring properties) enclosing two storey high glazed screens.
