Diaceutics Fit-out, Kings Hall, Belfast

The creation of a new HQ for leading Pharma-analytical company Diaceutics. Designed by Andrew O’Doherty this project offers a showcase for the businesses working model, by creating an open reception area with visibility into the collaborative workplaces, open plan flexible workplace and analytics centre. Whilst providing core office space, and private meeting facilities for their global clients, workers and visitors.

Somerville accepted the contract and worked with Brendan Holbeach to deliver this collaborative interior fit-out project which spanned 12,000 sq. ft of smart office space. Located within a brand new commercial building, the Diaceutics team gained a generous office space to work, collaborate and socialise in.

A floor-to-ceiling faceted glass screen with Diaceutics branding encases the birdcage while sheer curtains offer privacy between the waiting area and the surrounding offices. The bespoke kitchen design compliments the rest of the scheme, combining oak and matt black units, sleek concrete-effect worktops and minimalist black appliances offers the team a refined, contemporary space to dine.

A miniature version of this kitchen, in the form of a tea point/breakfast bar was positioned near the open plan desk areas. White fabric baffles and Hera-Design tiles offer sound softening to the scheme while oversized LED lights deliver ideal task lighting throughout.
