Iconic Offices Fit-out, Cork

The design approach was to maximise the great location, views, and natural light to create an interior that is striking and a first for Cork. A workspace that is glamorous, eccentric and a one-of-a-kind experience. The principles of the contemporary urban design was, derived from the Downtown New York vibe, which is bohemian in style, slightly funky and nonchalant. A mid-century modern colour palette is seen throughout the design, which comprises of earthy natural tones like muted greens, yellow and tan, which is energized by punchy accent colours of olive greens, navy blue and wine/berry.

The Iconic Office fit-out is located on the First floor of Block B, within Navigation square and has a floor area of just over a Gross floor area of 18,000sq ft, the design and layout focuses on spaces and facilities that are there to enhance the working experience and include the following:-

• Reception area with wellness zones
• Private offices
• Phone boxes
• New York meeting / phone booths – with Ergonomic and active furniture (Treadmill desk)
• Varied workspaces (co-working spaces, “hot desks”)
• Integrated technology
• Recreational and lounge spaces
• Kitchens & tea/coffee bars
• Social/ Collaboration spaces (to host community events with dropdown screens and projectors)
• Bookable meeting spaces
• A Podcast Lounge

WELL certification is a leading tool for advancing health & wellbeing in buildings globally, improving health and human experience through design. This fit-out for Iconic Offices is registered to peruse WELL certification under WELLv2 to become WELL Gold Certified. This project has been designed with the wellbeing and productivity of its members at its core, with live planting throughout, ensuring biophilia is fundamental to the design philosophy.
