The Ewart, Bedford Square, Belfast

The Ewart Bedford Square, Belfast is the second phase of developer MRP’s, Bedford Square development, sitting directly adjacent to the practice’s multi-award winning Invest Northern Ireland HQ.

The 213,000sqft office development comprises the major refurbishment / extension of the Grade B+ listed Ewart building, (the only remaining part of the former linen manufacturing complex dating from the 1880’s) and a new 17 storey, glass fronted office building sitting directly behind.

A new public square sits between the buildings and the adjoining INI building.

Planning permission was only secured through careful and detailed negotiation with Council’s planning and heritage advisors.

Deloitte is taking 80,000sqft of the development for their new HQ.
